Good Morning Mr Burns
Anne Lannan graduated from the Birmingham School of Drama and began her professional acting career at the Lyceum and Borderline Theatres. The main thrust of her work has been closely allied to Theatre Alba and the Brunton Theatre in which she played numerous roles. Perhaps the most notable of these were Mirren in "The Wallace". Alba in "The Cauldron", Isobel in "The Shepherd Beguiled" and Jane Eyre in "Jane Eyre". In Northern Ireland she worked at the Lyric and Centre Stage Theatres. She is a founder of MPR Theatre Studio and has therefore been fundamental to the re-birth of Theatre Alba. Her theatre work in recent years has been limited in order to bring up her daughter . Her role in "The Shepherd Beguiled" essentially re-launched her professional career. Her most recent stage role is the lead role in "Gravity" by Zinnie Harris.
