Irene Allan
Trained at Queen Margaret College. Since graduating she has performed with the Royal National Theatre, London, The Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh and Firstbase, Edinburgh, amongst others. Productions include: "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie", 'The Merchant of Venice", "Sleeping Beauty" and "'Hildegard".
Susie Hulskramer
Trained, Telford College, Queen Margaret College. Plays include Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Measure for Measure (Isabella), The Widows of Clythe (Iceet) , Blood Wedding, Six Degrees of Separation and Macbeth. Has appeared in numerous commercials, corporate videos and student films.
Joy McBrin
Began her career as a child in pantomime and plays on "Children's Hour". She has worked with Ulster Theatre Group, 7:84 Theatre Company Borderline Theatre Company, Traverse Theatre and in 1998 Theatre Alba, in 'Wallace's Women'. Her TV credits include 'Reconstruction' and 'They Came from Seville'.
Sean Kane
Trained Queen Margaret College. In recent times has worked with as Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Perth Repertory Theatre, Arkeen Theatre Company, Impact Theatre Company, Livewire, Traverse. His TV and film credits include 999 (BBC) Darkness in the Afternoon (Channel 4 Films/Cormorant Films)
Paul J. Henry
Following two short acting courses, he attended Hull University , graduating BA (Hons.) in Drama in 1997. Since then he has worked in T.I.E. in Birmingham and has recently finished touring Devon in TWELFTH NIGHT and ROMEO and JULIET with the West Country Theatre Company.
Clunie Mackenzie
Trained in Edinburgh and has been in numerous Theatre Alba productions throughout her professional career, including Tamlane, The Shepherd Beguiled and The Cauldron. She has performed at the Brunton Theatre and toured throughout Scotland. Has also worked in Film, Radio, and TV.
David Murray
Trained at the RSAMD, participating in his second Festival production. Recent work includes 'The Merchant of Venice" with Prime Productions. This is his first production in association with Theatre Alba.
MUSICIANS
John Grace
has been a singer, songwriter and actor for many years. He has recorded three albums and toured extensively in UK & Europe. He has appeared on Radio and TV and has worked with 7:84 Theatre Company and Theatre Alba. He has also written for the theatre.
Pamela Black
Is a freelance professional musician, having worked with the London Vivaldi Ensemble, the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, and other major Scottish ensembles. She has performed in several Theatre Alba productions including The Puddok and the Princess, Tamlane and the Shepherd Beguiled.
Ann Ward
Previously taught music and now plays in traditional music bands in and around Edinburgh. She has played in several Theatre Alba productions including THE SHEPHERD BEGUILED at the 1998 Edinburgh Fringe.
